In 2023 we are celebrating the 20 year anniversary of the www.jeff-jones.com web site from it’s start in 2003 up to the present day. Jeff is still actively playing and recording music with the likes of Gerry Finn, Tom Cochrane, Burton Cummings and The Carpet Frogs..
Jeff Jones, known for his contributions to Canadian music with acts like Tom Cochrane and Red Rider, is one of the headliners for Rock ‘N Roll ‘N for Hunger across Windsor on Dec. 9 and 10. He performs with Gerry Finn (Killer Dwarfs/Helix) at the International Tavern on Dec. 10.
Before Geddy Lee was even a glimmer in Alex Lifeson’s eye, Rush featured a bassist by the name of Jeff Jones, one of their founding members. From the start, Jones was a different breed, namely because he was the only member of the band who wasn’t a natural-born Canadian.
